I still haven't finished my vacation trip blogs. I will really try this weekend. Sheesh! I feel like I start work next week and I'm so nervous! :D Anyways, just a summary of what happened today! Submitted my requirements, unfortunately, the HR in charge was on leave so I couldn't get my contract. So I have to come back tomorrow or something. So I just went to MOA and picked up my Dad's eyeglasses and meet up with my shobe. :D Then we ate at Teriyaki Boy. hehehe! I really like the spicy tuna sashimi with tempura flakes. But I like Sugi's Spicy tuna sashimi with tempura flakes better:D Walked around, bought things. Saw Pao Tsin! Oh I miss Pao Tsin!!! hahahahaha:)
Anyways, the highlight of my day was when I drove home. I think I am more confident to drive and change lanes. Well, wala naman kasi mashadong traffic! that's why!:))
Thank goodness I got home safely, I know my shobe would be mad if I bumped her car:)) hahahaahhaa!
Anyways, will try to post reviews of the movies too! wahhh So many things to do but oh so little time!:)

The Gas Pedal is my Friend!

Today at around 9 in the morning, My brother woke me up telling me that we will fill up all our cars with gas today. I was still sooooo sleepy and half wondering why am I going with him since my credit card is not the Shell Citibank Car
d na.
(Just in case you didn't know, Shell Citibank Mastercard gives 5% rebate on gas purchases at all Shell stations. )
But I didn't think about it that much since I was so sleepy and I just brushed my teeth, washed my face and changed into pants and went down. The reason why he woke me up because I was going to drive all the cars to the Shell Station. and no, it's not just that Taft - La Salle Shell Station but the one in Macapagal Boulevard (the one near MOA).
Honestly, to practice my driving skills is okay. But I was still sleepy after sleeping late last night! And I told my brother that I don't wanna drive the new car. (And maybe he was scared that I might bump the new car so he said of course! hahaha!) I was thinking that I also don't wanna drive the Trooper, it's so big! Parking it in our parking area is okay, but getting it out of the gate was like super hard for me! Anyways, We went to the Shell Station using the Civic first. Honestly, now I can't remember but I think I went out of the gate butt first! Yay! and yea, I was really slow at first with the Civic. It has been a long time since I last drove a car noh!
The gas pedal is my friend! At first, I was scared to step on the gas. I was really careful with the turns and lane-changings and I know, a few cars overtaked me but at least didn't honk their horns:) During the first 5 minutes or 10 minutes. My brother pressed the hazard button. (Oh, I hope the next time I drive alone I will be able to caution other drivers using that hazard button! HAHA!) But after Quirino, I think he turned it off na. Luckily, today, there weren't as much motorbikes around. Now, I understand why some people hated motorbikes while driving! Anyways, we reached the shell station! Yay for me! I was a little annoyed because I was wearing slippers which made it a tad difficult stepping on brakes and gas pedals because of the mat, I think.
Anyways, after the gas station, We went home and again, I was having a little difficulty with our gate. And accidentally, I stepped on the gas pedal where I was supposed to stepped on the brake! But luckily, I stepped on the brake agad. (oh, that was the time when my brother went out of the car to check if I could enter the gate.) If the gas pedal is my friend then the brake pedal is my Bestfriend! haha! and I did it! whew!:)
Next car, my brother's rav4 and he told me he was the one driving it our of the gate and our street because he didn't want me to make gasgas to his mags? or is it mugs? the wheels of the car? I gladly obliged. Same banana, drove all the way to shell station and while going back home via Macapagal, my brother held the steering wheel and told me to step on the gas pedal on the max level. Of course I was scared. I wanna learn how to drive safe not to drive FAST! But well, brother's orders so I did it.
Next car the Trooper, this car, I really had a tough time taking it out of our gate. but I did it and my brother told me to turn left at Taft Avenue. and when I saw the shell station I asked him happily if we were going to fill the tank with the gas station at the Taft Branch. (Thinking : Yay! shorter route) But he said no! (oh no!!!?) I drove around leveriza and donada street turned 2 turns before going back to Taft again. Then ayun, he told me to go to the Shell Station at Taft (other side sa kanina) and fill up the tank. When we arrived at that gas station. We found out that it was way more expensive! Imagine for V-power, It was around 3-4 pesos cheaper at the Macapagal Station! So my brother asked me if I can drive till Macapagal. And I told him, He could drive! haha! So he told me to just drive home. And this is the hardest part that I bumped the side mirror on our gate! I was having a difficult time that my brother drove the car in one part. Anyways, Pinasok niya ung car since hindi ko talaga kaya and nilabas niya ulit ung car para i drive ko papasok and park it. And I did it, finally.
The second to the last car, my shobe's car. My brother asked me to ask her if it's ok that we fill the gas tank of her car. But she said coding daw today so we didn't bother na. Whew~
I really wanted to go straight to bed and sleep again. But my brother told me to go with him out for a drive using the new car. He was going to do driving OF COURSE! haha! We circled Macapagal once more and he was driving really fast. And the unique thing I found out with the new car is that it can become semi-manual.
And I told him if we can stop by Harrison Plaza 'coz I need to buy something to organize my stuff, he said ok. But I think he kind of forgot so we just went home.
And I slept.

I Finally Got my License!

The night before I was scheduled to go to LTO. I couldn't sleep. I'm not sure if it was the afternoon nap that kept me awake or I was really excited to get my license. I slept around 1-2 in the morning and woke up around 6+ am! Went to LTO with my Dad at around 730 am. We arrived there before 8 and of course. Drug test. They let us wait so long because they weren't ready to open yet. Luckily, I was the first one, since I don't want the bathroom to be dirty and all. I couldn't fill up the bottle with my urine. It was hard!!! Paid 400 for the drug test and "eye exam". They just asked me if what is the grade of my eyes and if I'm wearing contact lenses.
Grabe. LTO Tayuman was so full of people! Probably a hundred at least. or maybe five hundred! Met Jesylyne before lining up for something! haha:D Then lined up for the photo-taking. then waited for my name to be called for the cashier
then grabe! The cashier was so damn slow with the transactions that I think, it was the slowest counter ever! I was so inis coz the person who took her picture AFTER me was able to pay first! She must have been piling up the paperworks coz when I was so pissed off waiting (after all, I think I really finished the photo taking first compared to another person) I went to counter 12 and asked if where are my documents? Then she showed me the stack of documents and told me, "Tatawagin ka nlang mamaya" After giving me a snotty stare. I wanted to tell her "Paki bilis bilisan naman. hindi naman magtatanong yung mga tao sayo or d ka nila guguluhin kung mabilis ka mag trabaho. para kang nasa luneta! Ambagal mo eh, kaya ka natatambakan!" But of course, I didn't do that. Why? She might do some power tripping and I may end up coming back the next day to get my license. After I followed up my papers, she finally called me. After paying, I have to wait at Window 14 for my exam permit.
I was hoping I could take the exam before lunch time so I could go home early. But no! at 11 am, window 14 announced that they will not release exam permits before lunch, so all those waiting for permits must come back around 1230 for the lecture and after that they will release our exam permits! So my Dad and I just went to Jollibee to eat! After that we just went back and waited for the lecture. The lecturer asked all those people who will be taking the exam to move to the left part and while I was taking a seat, this egoistic guy sat on the seat I was going to seat on. And during the whole lecture, he was so damn KSP. why? He was like trying to show me his reviewer pointing out the answers but I didn't mind him. why? I already finished studying that reviewer that morning! Aside from that, he was making so much noise and shouting answers and feeling magaling! That was of course until he shouted the wrong answer. Hahaha! I was annoyed when he was occupying my space. Sana! d nako inagawan ng seat kung mejo maglelean siya sa side ko! Damn it!
Anyways, after the lecture, I just ran off to window 14 and waited for my name to be called. I got my exam permit and raced up the stairs to be able to take the test ASAP and get out of that place ASAP! haha:)) The exam was printed with your name on top so I was guessing that everyone has a different set meaning different questions. Coz when Jes finished her exam, she told me some questions that would come out but I didn't see some of those. And guess what! Some of the questions were not on the reviewer and I wasn't sure with some of my answers! After the exam, I just went back down and asked my dad one question that made me think a long time!
"Kapag ikaw ay nasa highway at gusto mong mas mabagal ang takbo kaysa sa iba? saang lane ka dapat? " A. Pinakakanang linya B. Pinakagitnang Linya C. Pinaka kaliwang linya
So what was your answer? Until now, I still don't know what the answer for that. What I answered was the B. Coz for sure, I knew that the left lane was for the overtaking and fastest lane. while the rightmost lane is for the shoulder where cars stop. so I sort of guessed that it was the middle lane! But my dad said NO! the answer is the rightmost lane... I explained my point and still he told me it was the rightmost lane.. haha!
Anyways, after the exam, I waited for my name to be called. Honestly, I was a little worried, Imagine, if i failed the test, I would have to wait like 1-2 hrs per counter again! Finally, I passed and then I WAITED AGAIN FOR THE SLOWEST CASHIER ON EARTH. CASHIER NUMBER 12! again, the one who finished the test slower than me paid first! Damn it! Then around 3pm, my name was called and we waited for counter 14 to release my License. took so long. but finally! I got it and went home.
