super tired this week had lots of thing to do and still undone. energy levels are going down. but the reason for my blog today I guess is called karma.
I always felt like it's unfair but now I try to just let it go and tell myself, someday, they'll get their own karma for all the dishonesty, selfishness and manipulation of all those people.
Anyways, enough about that. what would be better for you? good workplace or better work location? if it were only easy then I'd say most definitely good workplace but then again, life is just not about me. It also involves my family. But we'll see soon. All these great people in my workplace makes me happy and content in a way that even if I didn't get to do what I truly love which is retail marketing in a big company, I'm content with the way it is right now.
Lord, Thank you. All your tests have a reason. I know all these makes me a stronger and better person. Happy weekend everyone!

I just wanted to pour out these useless thoughts and get it over with and get back to work! I still have so many things to do but these useless and annoying thoughts keep bugging me!
I forgot where or whose status in facebook I saw this message but I think it's good and at least it makes sense!

well something like that. To all those people who are plastic, user, liars, etc. THAT "quote" is for you!
I know, I sound like as if I'm filled with hatred inside. But so what, for those people who abuse other people and just used them for their own personal gain or whatsoever that is for you!

1) FitFlops (Shakoha Boot by Anna Sui)
2) E63 / E71 / E75 / or just a new phone that has wifi
3) New Lappie since the one I have now is sinusumpong!
Well, I guess that's it for now. I will buy number 2 hopefully before christmas! wish me luck! :) I hope I could sell off the old phones for a good price (I bet hindi!) and hopefully I could decide which one na!:)

I really wanted to watch 500 days of Summer! I am a Joseph Gordon-Levitt fan eversince his Ten Things I Hate About You movie! I can't wait to watch it! Hopefully sa saturday na!!!! :)

My body clock is a total wreck. When I was working, I make sure I'd be asleep by 11 or 12. Now that I'm enjoying my break, my body clock is messed up.

Not everyone has this opportunity that I have right now. I must work harder to accomplish it. Inspiration, where art thou?
Not everyone is given this chance or special things, why do I feel unsure whenever they spend a lot for me? Why do other people have the "kapal ng mukha" to just receive and receive and still do bad deeds and making them look good in front of others but they're bad deep inside?
I still have a lot to learn. to discover. to accept in order to survive.

ARE PIANISTS SMARTER?
A group of scientists believe they are. A study conducted in Germany on two groups; one of non-musicians and another of pianists, pitted the two groups against each other in a series of challenges.
The two groups were asked to perform sequences of complex finger exercises or movements. While the exercises were being performed the participants were hooked up to a MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine. The machine was attached to the participant's heads to measure brain response.
What the scientists found was surprising. Both groups could perform the activities with the same amount of success. However the MRI report showed very different brain responses in the two groups. Simply speaking the pianists could complete the exercises correctly with less brain activation than the group of non-musicians.
From this we can see that piano player's brains are more efficient. This is further evidence that learning a musical instrument can enhance your brain function.

The Supposedly Mid-Year Report!

This is long overdue. But then again, I'm TOO busy to blog the past few weeks if you know:)
Here are the goals I have done at the start of the year! and my comments/report below each goal! :)
1) Blog at least 3 times a week.
----- I was able to do it before I got hired... Due to the many events that happened the last few months it wasn't 3 times a week. But hey, I'm making bawi anyways:)
2) Use my planner to the fullest.
----- I think I did! I listed down all my expenses and all things that I needed to remember (well most of the time anyway)
3) Format my laptop this year. (At least learn how!)
----- Guess what! I just did! Just few days ago.
4) Drive at least 50 kilometers by the end of the year (I hope they let me drive though)
------ This is already way way accomplished. I counted my drive from our new home to work. 15 kilometers one way and 30 kilometers roundtrip. and besides, even before moving here I think I already accomplished that:) I'll try to count my mileage haha! I'm thinking I might be nearing the 500kms mark. what do you think?:D YAY!
5) SAVE, SAVE, SAVE (actually, I'm being super practical and thrifty lately... which is a good sign!)
------ Yeah, Whatever I saved during BUM days are spent during employment days. Well, I did spend on a lot of things though:) I'll be back being a bum soon so I'm pretty sure that I'd be back on saving again!
6) Read books at least one book a month (I hope d na sumakit ulo ko, kakainis labo kasi mata ko)
--- Well, I need to make bawi on this! I finished one book already and halfway on the next one.
7) Take more pictures (more memories!)
---- Apparently, I failed at this one. After so many eventful happenings at my work, I fail to capture them on film. Seeing Jericho Rosales, Vicky Belo and Jollibee at my work! haha! Whee~
8) Finish Cooking Mama! haha:D joke lang! HmmMmMm! I'll think about it.
---- Obviously, I Wasn't able to finish this yet. I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to some stuff. i wanted all gold medals in all recipes. so... i guess that's it!
Yay? I think I accomplished at least 50%! well. the rest will be for next yr! Just kidding!
Anyways, why am I still awake at 2:22am? I just finished some work-related stuff. It's really better for me to work at this hour/time. I work fast (well as long as I'm not sleepy) and it's holiday tomorrow! Whee~ The rare holidays we don't have work should be celebrated!
Gotta go~! I still need to wake up early tomorrow to do some grocery shopping!

I've been too busy the past few weeks / months! Due to work and THE MOVE.
But anyways, before I bore you with all the details, I just wanna do a checklist of what I need to accomplish this "long" weekend. (I have work on saturdays so it's not a "long" weekend for me!)
1) Install Photoshop CS2 or CS3
2) Install Super5 Converter
3)Install IPmsg
4) Install Itunes
5)INstall Chikkatxt
6) Install Windows IME (language support)
7) Install Easy GIF
8)Install NERO (make sure to download that one too!)
9)Finish the financial stuff for my work (actually, it's not part of my work but I love dealing with numbers anyway)

11) Update my site and take pictures of stuffs for sale!

Sometimes, the reason why I don't like to be kind is because some people who don't think of others will take advantage of you. There are quite a number of instances of this case happened to me recently. I'm pretty annoyed with the fact that even people I don't know are taking advantage of my kindness.
Of the many people I've encountered lately. There are probably two the stand out. Both of them I don't know personally. I know I should share my blessings but I wanted to share my blessings to those who truly deserved it!
A perfect example of someone who truly deserved something better. In my workplace, I try to greet everyone who greets me even if he/she isn't someone I will be working with. Definitely I'm nice to everyone unless you're not nice to me/took advantage of my kindness/etc. One day, going down the elevator, I happen to chat with our janitor. I saw him neatly dressed and I joked "Kuya, aba may lakad ah!" Then he told me that he was actually going to school!!! I was shocked!! I couldn't believe what I heard. Night school back then was probably more common than today. I was so happy and inspired that someone does his best everyday without complains and go to school after work! As days pass by, I found out that he was on a scholarship and is on a 50% scholar. I wanted to help, but I don't know how.
I told my officemates about that janitor and they were also surprised. Imagine he goes to work 9 to 6pm and goes to school 6-12mn. I wanted to help but I don't want it to be a big help na baka masanay. So one time, I was given a "packed" lunch from work and I just gave it to him coz I'm sure he would appreciate it more than some person. diba? I remembered what Lyanne and I talked about , "Marami diyan, pinapaaral, pero bumubulakbol, kung ano ano ginagawa, hindi naappreciate or kaplastikan and gamitan lang ang nangyayari, e yung iba, grabe ang kayod para lang makaaral at makapagtapos." And to think si Kuya parang never nababadtrip. I am guilty of being badtrip at times but wow, si Kuya, parang never nabadtrip. I wish I could help. erase that. I will help!
Then back to the topic above,
The more I think about it, the more I get annoyed. For someone whom I didn't know personally, never worked with, never conversed with or yet, not even smiled with to ask me for something many times, Isn't it annoying? I just tried to ignore it (although feeling a bit guilty, but I don't wanna be abused again) but no, they find ways just to get what they want without thinking of others. Isn't that a sign or a hint that I don't like it. Isn't it enough?
Anyways, just my thoughts. (if anyone can suggest on how I can help not in terms of money or over help please comment) Thanks!

So one time, I was given a "packed" lunch from work and I just gave it to him coz I'm sure he would appreciate it more than some person. diba? I remembered what Lyanne and I talked about , "Marami diyan, pinapaaral, pero bumubulakbol, kung ano ano ginagawa, hindi naappreciate or kaplastikan and gamitan lang ang nangyayari, e yung iba, grabe ang kayod para lang makaaral at makapagtapos." And to think si Kuya parang never nababadtrip. I am guilty of being badtrip at times but wow, si Kuya, parang never nabadtrip. I wish I could help. erase that. I will help!
Then back to the topic above,
The more I think about it, the more I get annoyed. For someone whom I didn't know personally, never worked with, never conversed with or yet, not even smiled with to ask me for something many times, Isn't it annoying? I just tried to ignore it (although feeling a bit guilty, but I don't wanna be abused again) but no, they find ways just to get what they want without thinking of others. Isn't that a sign or a hint that I don't like it. Isn't it enough?

Since I don't like being idle at the office, I opt-in for a half day that day. We went to Sakae Sushi to eat!!!:) We were already planning to eat at Sakae Sushi for a month already! It's my second time there actually but I still enjoy those sushi's rotating around:) Sorry pictures are courtesy of phone camera only that's why it's a bit blurry! I promised myself back then to blog at least twice or thrice a week. But after being employed for a month. I blog less and less. I love my job or should I say I like the people I work with:) They're really nice. One of my fears when starting out on a job is "politics" in the workplace. But so far, there's no "politics" here. :) I feel like I have two sisters whom I can ask advise from too!:) I learned a lot.
Anyways, I was supposed to blog my wishlist for this half of the year but I feel like I wanted it to be perfect with images and all that. Well here's the short list and probably summary of my wishlist for now:)
1) Nokia E90 (But I'd probably buy a lower model kasi super luma na phone ko... sira na kasi ung samsung)
2) Walk With Me Original DS game!:)
3) Rockband Set for Wii!
4) Another DS Lite for my shobe!
5) Smaller Laptop so I could bring it to work
6) Sun Wireless broadband internet
Well, those are the only things I could think of right now. I know I'm too kuripot to buy siguro kasi I know how to earn my money. I promised myself kasi rin na I wanna earn my own money and ayaw ko matulad sa ibang tao e aasa asa sa sipsip or sa ibang tao. Just this lunch time. I was really tempted to withdraw money from my ATM to buy number 2! I was not in a good mood today that I just wanted to splurge. Good thing I decided not to. Hindi pa right time:) and besides, I wanna save up for something:)
Anyways, I'll try to blog my wishlist tomorrow with pictures. But if it didn't happen, I must be busy packing or something. :) Tata for now!

For some of my friends, I'm sure they're thinking that it was the first event in my job. It's actually the second. The first one was just near our office and wasn't sure if anyone I know would be in that place. Probably I was too naive back at that time. :)

It was actually more of a relaunch of the Watsons Department stores format. Instead of the usual beauty area you see before, This was the new and improved beauty section at SM Department Stores. I'm sure a lot of you would think that it's not under Watsons but it is. So here are some pics of what I slaved over the past few days. Seeing those collaterals without the execution was too plain for me. But after seeing it on the gondolas, I was pretty happy and wow-ed also. :) I not being biased here, but the new format was really nice. I was thinking that they are probably following with the trend or format of the department stores abroad. Or probably, another Rustan's in the making. Anyways, enjoy the pics!:)
Oh, I almost forgot, I saw Jericho Rosales LIVE. Grabe! the girls or women should I say of all ages are nagtitilian!!! I would like to have a picture just for remembrance's sake but my feet hurts and I don't like crowded spaces. hahaa!:D He's not my crush anyway. hahaha!:)
Once again, enjoy the pictures!:D Those collaterals are what I've worked hard for... imagine the rush. but we made it:)

I don't know what that is at first and they told me that it was for the door (entrance) I thought the vestibule was a big big big image covering the whole door and when we arrived at ORTIGAS DS, I said. Shux! bakit wala yung hinahabol kong vestibule!! I was envisioning it to be super big and all that! Yun pala it was just a small thingie!

For those who are close to me, you'd probably understand my blog title for this entry. It is the time I've been working. I got my FIRST ever pay slip. and thanks to those tax stuff, my already-low salary is now lower. haha! :D But it's okay, The first week was like a rollercoaster of emotions but now because of work. Because of the many complications that things bring at the same time when I started working. Call it coincidence or maybe, it's simply fate playing its games.
I even cried because I feel like I have to choose over things that are important to me. I was so worried that I just kept myself busy at work to distract my mind over some things. I so miss not working. I control my time (well most of the time anyway), I get to do things without rushing so much. I can go online ALL DAY. I can be productive and at the same time do things that I like. I was probably super stressed the first week. I realized too that super totoo yung sinasabi nung manghuhula last time!:D
Anyways, just wanna share some rehearsal pics of David Archuleta near our office!:D I also saw David Cook!!!! :D But it was too far away...
When I took this pic, I wish I could leave a video while the set up and fast forward the video when viewing it. It would have been cool to do that!

I learned and did a lot of new things eversince I started working! But what strucked me the most was that one time, nakasabay ko yung janitor sa elevator. He was actually nice and nagbabati. And I joked na "si kuya o bihis na bihis ah" then he told me that he was still going to school. I was shocked. Imagine, ako, all I wanted to do was to go home and this person after work still goes to school. napa-WOW talaga ako! And I told him. Wow kuya! Ok yun ah! Ituloy mo lang yan!:) I'm not sure if I heard it right pero sa PAL daw siya nag aaral. I wish him all the luck! Sobrang napabilib ako sa kanya:)
I learned a lot of new things but I'm very sure that I will learn much more this coming weeks and months. I just hope I can handle it. the most hectic part in my work hasn't arrived yet. I just remembered something so weird. I remember something during the start of my college days. And something happened this week that made me realize something.
I still have a long list of To Do's and Wanted to Do's :D I'll probably and hopefully blog about it tomorrow:D
P.S. the title also shows how long I have been driving (minus some days like today, this wednesday and sundays) :D

The highlight of my day today was to watch my cousin's daughter dance ballet at CCP. She's still a kid probably taking up preschool. She's super cute and adorable. As far as I remember, this was my first time to watch ballet LIVE! It was nice and I was so smitten with the kids dancing ballet. They're super cute and funny! I had a great time! And what I enjoyed the most was that I was able to spend some time with my cousin's daughter! She's so cute and funny!
Anyways, I got a text today saying that I have an orientation on Monday. I was wondering if this was already the start of my work and if I'm paid for it or not. I thought I was going to drive the car that was exchanged for the Rav4... But when I checked, I saw that it is on manual! NoOo!!! :(
I don't like to drive the Civic, :( It's too fast and big for me. I still like Suzuki Swift! :D I just wonder if my shobe will let me drive the Swift though. We'll see:D
