Long Overdue

Monday, March 30, 2009 2
As I promised, my third ocean park trip pics. But I could only share one since other pics are just pictures of my cousin's cute little kiddos:D

I know, I know. Blurry, but it was nice to get a full shot minus the glass divider marks.

My latest craze : RESTAURANT CITY in Facebook.

I know, I promised myself not to get addicted to any games or facebook-ing. But this really is something nice, unique and new! It's not the usual games where you need to invite gazillion friends to advance. This is something really cute and fun!

Something weird going on my fishies, at least 10 died today and yesterday. but the weird thing is that. 8 of those are teens and 1 adult. weird...Anyways, here are some fish updates. I've finished transferring cups and aquariums outside to our balcony. Why? Coz my room looks crowded with a big table (the brown table) kahit na there's a lot of space pa. But I feel a lot spacious after the big table is moved outside. Here are some pics.

New set up! The brown table used to be in my room.
So I'm trying to make the brown table as my Hatchery:D

Grow out tanks are on the left side:D hehe! they're empty for now...

Top view of my cups. they're so neat and organized. I like it. well.
Just a random fact. I arranged it by alternating males and females.

My outdoor sink. Smaller than my sink but then again, it's better than nothing!

Anyways, went to Robinson's Otis this afternoon. bought some stuff and tried this.

Envidia Drink! Philip said that it tasted like Cali. But since I only drank Cali once. I don't remember. But shobe told me that it tasted like Cali. so there you go. It tastes like Cali.

Anyways, what else? I already forgot. :( Anyways, time for bed already... Nytie everyone!

Busy Day

Friday, March 27, 2009 6
I know I haven't been blogging for the past few weeks. I was busy with something that I don't remember what. Anyways, I'll really be doing picture blogs this weekend (hopefully).

I've been trying to wake up early and I realized that lately, I have dreamless sleep or probably I just can't remember. But having a dreamless sleep makes me more energized and capable of waking up earlier:) Another thing that I did is to change the schedule of fish feeding from 6-7pm to 9-10am. Adjusting wasn't easy because I had to make sure I do it almost the same time everyday for the baby fish food which I prepare twice a day. So adjusting it to 9-10am was a big plus for me. I usually feel more relax within the day rather than feel annoyed whenever I forget to feed the fish on the 6-7 timeslot. And another hassle is that if I go out with friends or family, I tend to rush feeding them when I get home.

So the 9-10am schedule is great. I get to finish the tasks in the morning which leaves me a little time for myself during afternoons, doing what I like or finishing other tasks. I also realized that feeding them in the morning makes me appreciate them more. I can see clearly their colors like the 2nd batch (since 2009) are purplish green in color with a few "albinos" with reds:D I was hoping I could research more on their coloring and kinds so that I'd make no mistake when pricing them. Like what I thought wasn't expensive (pastel) was actually more expensive compared to ordinary colors.

Hopefully, I'd be able to distinguish the kind with just one look:D or know what patterns are good patterns or quality breeds or not:D

Before lunch, I read about the scams in dog-selling/buying. And there are a lot. I should be aware so that I could be able to gain the trust of the customers as well. In marketing, it's called research! wahahaha!

This afternoon we went to RP. It's been a long time since I've last shopped. It felt great. Ate shawarma which was yummy! drank Zagu (grabe. tagal narin ako d nakainom! years already!) Oh I noticed too that their market changed from everyone to schoolkids:D Bought Ipod charger. bought clothes which made me realize that the clothes I bought from giordano last time was really overpriced and NOT WORTH IT. We ran out of time since we were planning to go to Duty Free after dinner (which was 6pm) Shopped at duty free. Chocolates were overpriced. Did not see Snicker's black choco "cubes". Liked an Esprit bag and thought of buying since mejo inexpensive na sha compared to others. Still liked the Kipling wallet but I still have 2 new wallets and it's impractical to buy the original when there are a lot of replicas which costs like 5% of the original:D Bought Oregon Fresh Wasabi chips. Yummy!:)

Anyways, I got home super tired. ate the chips, ice cream and some iced tea. Yikes! Anyways. gotta prepare for sleeping na. I don't wanna ruin my body clock which was ruined after watching a DVD series!

Nyties!

String Quartet Tribute to Norah Jones

Saturday, March 21, 2009 0
After listening to the String Quartet Tribute songs, I decided to download them. Why? I love the sound of violins, double bass and other instruments. It eases my mind and I just love them. I miss playing the piano whenever I head violins etc. I was actually trying to find Tribute to U2. But unfortunately, I couldn't find any. So I settled for a Norah Jones Tribute. It's soooo nice:) If this were nice here, what more if it was live!!!

I'm was going to embed a sample here but I have to do that later when I get home:)

Try to download it, it's really nice:D By the way, if you liked it, Why don't you come for the DLSU Chamber Ensemble's major concert. I wanted to go, but I'm not sure if I can:) It's going to be at DLSU. Gotta go!!

P.S. I don't usually listen to music using earphones but this really is nice with earphones :)

Looking for shirts!

Friday, March 20, 2009 4

I really wanted to go shopping these days since I want to have new clothes and also in preparation for the vacation. David and Goliath sent me this thru e-mail. I like the nuts about you and A monster ate my homework! hahaha:) Maybe I'll just use my coupon from Belle de Jour to buy the nuts about you shirt:D They're cute noh? :D

Anyways, I've been busy the past few days. I feel like I'm so sick. My head hurts quite a lot and I feel so tired. I don't know why... I hope it's nothing serious. :D

I'm going to post pics of my cute little kiddos (my cousin's kids) I'm being called Auntie now!!! yikes! lol:))

Randoms

Wednesday, March 18, 2009 2
I have this headache that occasionally comes whenever I'm super angry about something. Yeah, today was no different. Some stupid people really wants to make a big issue out of something else. And seriously, I'm not taking any sides here. I don't like both of them. I just hope they get their karma and be over with it. Don't they feel guilty making other people fight with the mess their making? Well, life's not fair. Bahala sila sa mga kalokohan nila. Isang tanga. Isang paawa-effect. Parehas silang abusado. Anyways, bato bato sa langit. ang matamaan, guilty! hahaha (I'm beginning to sound like Ru here.)

Anyways, I made "strawberry" flavored pink cheesecake today! Finally! I was planning to take pictures along the way to make a step by step documentary here. But sad to say that my headache really hurts and I just wanted to finish doing the cheesecake:)

To go or not to go? We'll see:D

Meet Lipstick

Tuesday, March 17, 2009 8
I know I didn't update on my fishes. But I was busy with selling dogs for the moment. I was looking at this fish the other day and her nickname popped out in my head. Meet Lipstick:D

She's really a cutie!

Checking if her lipstick is okay:D

I bought the male last time at cartimar. I really wanted something like that. Honestly, I was unsure if I will buy it or not. But anyways, nandito na eh. I mean, nandyan na eh.

Celeb to Binbo Taro

Monday, March 16, 2009 0

Before I started blogging on blogspot, I was already thinking of writing game reviews and other reviews and here I am doing my first JDorama review.

Celeb to Binbo Taro
11 Episodes
Romance, Comedy

Like what Louis Ting mentioned in his review. The lead girl (Alice) is like Paris Hilton, daughter of a rich hotel owner and living in the suite of the hotel. Their first encounter with the Binbo Taro (Poor Taro) was during the construction site during a catfight with another girl. But fate really is persistent that their paths crossed again when Taro was hired to be Alice's driver. It was really a nice and funny story. If you want to watch something light then this is for you.

The thing I like best in this story is the unbelievable twists during the latter part. You'd never thought that something like that was going to happen:) And another favorite character of mine is Asako:) Watch it and find out what's so special with Asako:) I also like the kiddos! They're extra cute:)

My Week in Summary

Friday, March 13, 2009 8
Monday

Met with NKK/Japan Studies Peeps! I was late coz I need to feed my fishies and finish up some stuffs. Met them at KopiRoti Greenbelt 3. (PICTURES BY JANIS AND RU! THANKS!) I didn't know they have milk tea. It was a little too late when I found out but it's okay :)

There are two balikbayans, but Janis is still here till May so I'll just post another "despedida entry" by May. But Pucca-chan will be going back to Halifax today! So here's the balikbayan!

Pucca-chan (Kris)

All of us present. (from left) Me, Pucca-chan, Janis, Empress, Ru, Boy Abunda (err I mean Lord Byron), and Syun Batista.

Take two! Chikahan moments at Kopiroti with Boy and Kris!

After that, Renchan went home coz she still needs to wake up early the next day. We proceeded with our dinner! Ru suggested this Ramen place at A. Arnaiz.

Ukokkei Ramen Ron!

Pien li thie! Haha! I remembered the series Fated to love you! Their stick-ons menu!

My order: Hiyashi Ramen, my favorite. compared to Hiyashi Ramen of other restaurants, the presentation is quite different and simple but taste wise, it's so yummy that I wanna go back to Ramen ron and eat one of these again soon! Hiyashi Ramen is also known as cold Ramen. So yummy! I hope I get another chance to eat there again.

Pucca's Oolong Tea! I ordered Iced green tea in the same pitcher:D

Janis' yummy curry rice! Look's yummy!

After eating at Ramen ron, we decided to eat desserts but Ramen ron didn't have any so we went to Mcdo and ate sundaes.

Again, thanks to Janis and Ru for their superb pictures!

Tuesday and Wednesday

well, nothing interesting has happened. :D so there!

Thursday

Had one job interview and my schedule is to go to cartimar and harrison plaza after my interview. Well, luckily, I made it on time at cartimar and bought fishes and food! Ate Taho and my favorite Wintermelon Juice!:) YUM! I saw a phone repair booth at Cartimar and thought that if I get my phone repaired then I don't need to go to Harrison Plaza! I don't know why but I really hate a lot of phone repairmen. Why? They tend to ask for your phone and make kalikot even if I told them already what's wrong with my phone. I use it everyday so I know what's wrong. It goes like this. not verbatim but almost like this:

Me: Magkano po mag paayos ng flex ng samsung?
Technician and Saleslady: Anong model?
Me: Samsung D820 ata
Technician: dala mo?
Me: oo
Technician: patingin nga (then parang kinakalikot na feeling ko pati inbox kinakalikot which made me pissed) Wala namang sira ah?
Me: Akin na po cellphone ko. dibale nalang po. (super pissed off. I told them already ung flex nga sira. sheesh kung wala, edi tell me agad!!! Sinasayang mo oras ko. nangalikot ka pa ng cellphone!)

Then went to Harrison Plaza. I tried to ask one how much is it to repair the flex and he told me 1000 pesos and I was so mad that hindi porket naka-polo ako e tataasan mo na price. The first time I repaired my phone was for around 800 or 700. then second time for only 500. then you're telling me it's 1000 pesos? Sinong niloko mo? I went away in a hurry and went to my suki. Then I asked how much. He told me 500. I said I remembered it was less than that. and he told me okay, 400. Then I thought about it for a while then since I was sooooo tired I just let them repair my phone. Then ayun. nakakwentuhan ko and learned more about mall rental spaces. Finally! phone is fixed! :D

Friday:

cleaned some fish homes and went to my little sister's dean's lister recognition thingy. didn't have a chance to eat their food but it's okay since we stopped by Becky's kitchen and bought some treats! Yummy!:D

Anyways, that's all for now!:D

Hectic Weekend!

Monday, March 9, 2009 0
I really had a long weekend today. But main highlights are my dinner at Yakimix (which I looked forward to and got a little disappointed) and the fortune teller.

Yakimix was pretty okay. It's not bad or probably my mood isn't just that good. Too tired and I felt that my day was so wasted over 2 potential doggie buyers. It took the whole afternoon. They offer maki, tempura (daw), salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, grill, salads, sweet and sour pork, seafood rolls, fish fillet in probably supposedly lemon sauce but parang hindi rin. then ice cream and cakes and other stuffs for dessert which I didn't get to try as much. considering I ate only a few things at lunch and due to my super hectic afternoon, I ddin't get to any snack. I think hindi na talaga ako sulit sa eat-all-you-can. I only filled around 1 plate or 1 and 1/2 plate. And I was looking forward to desserts but my brother was sort of nagmamadali and probably wanted to go home so I just tasted their desserts and ate an ice cream stick. sheesh! Pero super busog talaga. Probably, I'm just not in the mood rin. Chair were a bit uncomfortable kasi they move a lot. But overall, the place is okay, food is okay. If you wanted to eat at Yakimix, you'd better have the appetite.

After having a sort of bad day. (2 potential buyers dropped by and didn't buy any dog compared to days that I'd sell 2 dogs a day.) I was reminded of my experience last friday. My mom told me I was such a crazy person. laughing and crying while the fortune teller read the cards and tells me more about my self, thinking, personality and probably future. I was laughing cause she got a lot right. Especially bout my love life. Then tears started falling when I was reminded of my personal stuff that only a few friends know. (I think one or two persons know about this.) And guess what the fortune teller told me something about that and I was so shocked.

I was a little hesistant cause sometimes we don't want to know more especially if it's something negative or something we don't like. But this experience sort of helped me emotionally and mentally.:) She was really right about a whole lot of things. Anyways, I'm looking forward to the future now.

I hope tomorrow's gonna be a better day. I hope to accomplish a lot before I go to sleep tomorrow:) I need to prioritize the jobs I want and decline already those I don't want. What's the point of going to interviews if you don't like the job, right? My belief back then is to try all possible opportunities and I'm such a learner. I wanted to know more about a lot of things and more companies. But I know my goal eversince the start of my college years and that is not to know more about companies. :)

Gotta go. I am so sleepy. Sleeping almost 6am last night and woke up around 930am. then I'm sleeping at almost three am today. I hope I wake up early tomorrow. I feel a lot of energy or I feel masipag whenever I'm puyat. Weird but True. :)

Random-ing

Wednesday, March 4, 2009 4
I've been waiting this the whole day! Yes, some fish vitamins and their food. I'm low on supplies and I don't wanna buy on my own coz I might buy some other stuff and spend even more. :D So here they are!:D Yay! I bought a stash so I would not run out of supplies for some time!:D

These cost me almost 500 pesos! yikes. But then again, This would probably last for 2 months or so.

I had a job interview this morning. And I really got tired of answering exams. The experience with this company is quite different and a little funny. Some people are nice and smiled even if they don't know me but some didn't bother. I don't blame them. Went to school to get my SSS. FINALLY! after the oh-so-long wait. Went home. Fed a part of my fishes, changed clothes did some errands and went to Robinson's Otis. Bought some stuff (Mom's orders) and ate ice cream.

Since they have a promotion of free junk food for the health tea. We bought one just to try it out. (Both the drink and the chips!) Drink tasted good but a little too sweet for me. Chips were great! (Or probably I'm just hungry at that time) I like the onion flavor. And I thought e-aji are chips without MSG. These chips are probably on a different category. :D

I liked their packaging. It gave me an idea for another poster for paws and fins:D :) It's just 1030 and I'm feeling oh-so-tired already. Got another interview tomorrow. We'll see how it works out:)

I hope there are no exams on the job interview tomorrow. I think I took those sets of tests more than 5 times already. And honestly, I'm tired of circling the same answers everytime so I try to circle different answers in those last few tests:))

Gotta go, short entry but I guess fruitful one:) Oh, I can't wait for my fishies to get so big and plump!:)

Just for Laughs

Tuesday, March 3, 2009 0
from www.humordb.com

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slowdown in overall system performance -particularly in the flower and jewellery applications which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programmes, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programmes such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,
Desperate

-----------

Dear Desperate:

First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter the command: "http: I Thought You Loved Me.html" and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, over-use of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1.

Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources).

Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 programme. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great programme, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Food 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck,
Tech Support

A wealthy and very well-dressed stockbroker arrived at a psychiatrist's office to talk about his anxieties.

The dapper, extremely confident and very dignified gentleman parked his Porsche and entered the doctor's office.

The psychiatrist greeted him.

"Doctor, I am so compulsive!" cried the Wall Street broker. "I have to do everything perfectly. I can't stand the anxiety!"

The doctor said: "Alright, take this test first". He handed the broker a form.

"What is this?" asked the stockbroker anxiously.

"It's just a test - to show how well you can follow directions. I'll be back in 20 minutes" and the psychiatrist left the stockbroker alone in the office with the test.

The broker stared at the questions for five minutes, and shook his head in disbelief. He looked again, and his shoulders dropped.

"This is an outrage! But I HAVE to pass the test.." he said out loud. "I can't make mistakes!"

Then with a sigh of embarrassment, he reached down, untied and pulled off his highly polished $800 Brooks Brothers dress shoes. Then he peeled off his silk socks.

The now barefoot businessman then carefully folded the socks, put them in the shiny, expensive shoes and, with a groan, dropped them in the garbage can.

A minute later, he gathered his courage again, shook his head, slowly untied his $150 Hermes silk necktie, unfastened his monogrammed gold cufflinks, and slid his Rolex off his wrist. He threw them in to the garbage as well. His silver tiepin and his paisley braces followed.

A moment later, the stockbroker dropped his head into his hands and groaned. No longer confident and dignified, he looked around furtively.

Then he angrily shrugged and stood up. He stripped off his $2,000 navy blue pinstriped Armani business suit, and his starched white shirt, folded them up and stuffed them in the garbage.

The broker finally sat down in his shorts and finished his work, shaking with anxiety.

The doctor came back, looked around, saw the stripped Wall Street financier and his expensive clothes piled in the garbage and is stunned. "Why did you do this?" he asked in bewilderment. "What is going on?"

The broker, formerly so well-dressed, dignified and impeccably groomed, angrily and wearily picked up the test.

"Why didn't you warn me about this before I came, doctor? It says right here: ALL questions MUST be answered in BRIEF! No exceptions!"
