I will never ever buy from that shop!

I love pets! who didn't know that our home may sound like a zoo when people knew about the number of pets we have. But of course, like people, pets multiply and well, we need to sell some away to make up for the truckloads of dog food we order. (and fish food that I buy) Last week at Cartimar while waiting for my little sister, I tried to look for shops with few supplies of fighting fish for sale and tried to look for the owner so I could sell my extra fishes so maintenance would not be that much of an issue anymore. I only tried two shops, because other shops were on full stock. The first one where our secretary must have bought my fish food from was very masungit. I was hesitant to offer them my fish since I remember in that shop that once we saw a fish on the floor (out of water) and they didn't bother to put it back on the water. MEAN! Well, I just didn't mind that shop since there are at least 10 shops more around the vicinity.

Another shop was very kind and told me his boss' number and told me to come back in the afternoon because his boss is not yet at the shop. Unfortunately, I had to go home. So I called up their boss and asked if she buys fighting fish from breeders and she told me yes! Of course the price exchanges etc. But before we talked about that she told me na sayang kakaorder lang niya ng 50 fishes! sayang nga! But then again, 30 of my fishes are already "reserved" by my shobe's ninang. And no, not for sale. Mabait talaga and the next time I go there, I might as well as buy my fishes vitamins there. diba?

Now, the shop I called this afternoon was located at the mall. Robinson's Place Ermita to be exact. I usually visit this shop whenever I go to RP but their prices are more expensive compared to handyman and cartimar so I never buy from them and if ever I did, I probably did buy once or twice. (Now that I think of it, I think I did buy) I called them. Mahiyain ako usually especially to strangers but I think about my future and of course I want to help sell our dogs as well, I need to do this. I kept their "calling paper" (It was literally a paper, should be calling card) for around two weeks in the hope of getting the courage to call and try to sell. Guess what? I just asked if they can do consignment, or buy fishes or dogs. and the girl just shut me down by saying may supplier na sila. She didn't even ask for the price. The heck? What if I offer 50% off compared to your supplier's price? Well DI WAG! Someday, I will knock your shop out of that mall but building a better and more friendly shop for everone.

Actually, my mom already warned me about masusungit na pet shops. But if you were a good business person, you'd definitely look for goods/pets that would have a competitive price so that the next time you order from your supplier, you could haggle. DIBA? Just like what I did at greenhills when I bought our Wii Fit. I have a "suki" but in order to get the lowest possible price, I canvassed around for the prices of Wii Fit then the last shop I go to is my "suki's" shop and get the best price. Imagine slashing off at least 1500 pesos off the price tag. I think I saved around 2000 pesos compared to going straight to my suki's shop.

I was really annoyed, mad and a little discouraged. But then again, I won't let a stupid person ruin my day just like that:)
